It's painfully clear that the culture here openly rewards people who live and breathe this company. If you have family commitments or outside interests, well tough luck, you're at a clear disadvantage. The unspoken expectation is to be always on and available. If this is not true for you, consider yourself lucky.

i put in 3h days by using a mouse jiggler
I did that for two year before I retired. My rationale was the same except I knew I’d be Ok if I left before my target date. Went passive aggressive with my manager who needed me and it worked out.
Your statement is incorrect. “ openly rewards people who live and breathe this company.”
I know way too many 2’s who in turn got nothing, too many times other than “Jane appreciates your sacrifice so that she can maintain her bonus\raise.”
Why not just put in 8 hours per day only and no more. If things don’t get done, then they just don’t get done until the next day. I know that’s what I’m doing. What’s the worse that can happen? They don’t reward you or they let you go? Well, they aren’t doing that anyway.
