What did you think of the mandatory AI training

I know a lot of people that thought it was a waste of time with a complete random set of videos to watch. No fundaments or structure to really build a knowledge base.
I'm guessing Shan picked each and every one of them.

Low quality content, no real structure around it. Not clear what the point was other than a box ticking exercise. Looks like poorly prompted LLM generated content.

ChatGPT failed the test but copilot passed. If they aren't putting in any effort than I'm certainly not either.

@gb Fair. Technical vs non Techncial (basically only engineering) training is different. So much so we're separated for Career Week as well.

I think this will all be interesting in retrospect when the AI bubble explodes.

If your in engineering the AI training I've been doing is more than what was described early in this chat. Advanced is hard to pass the quiz. Idk if its got the wrong answers or many of us are just d-mb.

A 5-minute video on "Ethics," followed by a 10-minute marketing video on "Aviator," followed by a generic "What is ChatGPT" clip. It’s performative, not educational.

Every job is going to require AI knowledge. So if you thought the training the company gives you is a waste of time, than use youtube or microsoft copilot to learn more about AI. AI is growing rapidly in all job functions. If you lose your job and don't know much about AI, you won't find another job. Look at people who have recently gone on job interviews and look at all the different questions they have been asked about AI. (check out the interviews on youtube. They are difficult, so the more you learn about AI, the more likely you may get your next job.) Good Luck!
