I have had credit for my ideas stolen so many times that I have stopped sharing them. Started on day one. My manager stole an idea I had during my first week. He rode that one idea for almost ten years until he retired. I’ve had supervisors steal my ideas and then work on them with others keeping me excluded. Now I don’t share my ideas. I have a bunch of ideas that would save the company and lot of money but f&$k em!

There are plenty of jokes out there about Philosophy Majors. Don’t be ExxonMobil’s version of a Philosophy Major.
Yeah you will learn fast at exxon. So much for the weam sham and innovation building. Exxon forced us together at campus with shared workplace and no assigned offices. I find a lone spot to hide out at and do my work. There are too many snitches at exxon trying to make you look bad. No one is friendly or nice and if someone is they are up to something.
