I've heard rumbling that the superhero event will be canceled this year. I have to say I have mixed feelings about it. While , it's great for those who are recognized, I'm sure it cost millions of dollars to throw a party for the few hundred people who get to go. Could jobs be saved instead?

Superhero is meaningless anyways. You'll still get RIF'd.
This bullsh-t is just a way to get us to clap like trained seals. Who cares, these cheap as--s should be paying in kind not hosting this nonsense while cutting those same employees’ 401ks, benefits, and salaries.
They'd cancel it and still lay off people. Doesn't matter.
