Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

There is hope

I left 2 months ago for a competitor and didn’t even get so much more in salary, but I do not regret it at all.

The culture out there is so much better in many ways. No one is breathing down your neck and expecting you to work every moment. I feel respected and heard here. I hope you guys make it out too!

Took a pay cut, switched to a role with more autonomy and less micromanaging. Longer commute and still I am happier. No one is asking me to work weekends. No abrupt teams calls from my manager or VP. Peace is better than money I can promise you that.

@ac You feel threatened? I agree with the first part but that's odd. If they did threaten or stress people to perform, at least they would not be completely useless with getting any real work done.

@bz Do everything? Does anyone even know what needs to be done communicated by management outside of generalities and useless PR jargon to expect anything for an output?

I’m glad for anyone that leaves this dump! Management don’t know anything and expect you to do everything while they collect bonus!! Used to be a good place 10 years ago…

Is it easier? Like you have a 59 for 5.9 initiative ?

Not to mention the blatant nepotism rewarding the few that have their feet kicked up while the extremely underpaid are stressed and threatened.
