Thread regarding Scientific Games Corp. layoffs

How likely is it that these layoffs aren't the end of it?

Leadership seems he-l-bent on cost-cutting. But there's always a breaking point.

Almost a whole studio in the UK was laid off a few months back. Also the offshoring of jobs to India does have creators rightly concerned.

Did any VP get let go? If you let service go, why have project management. Let Product handle it all.

Profits over Creators. Wall Street talks, employees walk, or get overwhelmed by lack of support.

One look at the org chart shows how top heavy this company is. I’ve never seen so many VP’s and SVP’s.

Cost savings is letting the highest paid staff go, not us line workers who are the foundation. I know soooo many VPs that work 1/2 days, take long lunches, outside smoking and who direct reports do all the work, macking them look good.
Why does management not see this!!!
It is a club of elite!!!

Of greatest concern is the lack of communication regarding the recent layoffs.
