Honestly unbelievable. Losing money on PYPL through ESPP feels like a joke.

Shocking the world every day by getting even closer to the stock price when the company went public in 2015.
PYPL at $39… this stock impresses me more every day. Probably the most hated stock in the market lol.
@a3 likely many wont be around long enough to vest into the cash or the RSU.
It is a joke. Safest thing to do is sell them straight away. Less tax complications that way too. Im down about 14k in my shares. If It gets back to 70 I'll be at breakeven. Big if at this point. I really believed in the turn around story. I cant wait to get out and be done with it now.
I heard the new target price is $20... I might buy more if it reaches that level.
If the stock drops to below 30 only then would I consider it a good buy even with ESPP
@af there is no blackout period for 95% of the employees, only for like VP or above. Now if he is doxxing himself as a VP, that is it's own problem for a VP to not have faith in the stock, but this complaint is pointless for below VPs as you can immediately sell
@a6 I'm not the OP, but I disagree with you. If the stock drops in a quarter and continues to drop fast, the first few days of blackout could be enough for you to register a loss. Also, even without a blackout, you're implying that everybody should sell right away, which in itself can drive the price down for the unlucky ones who didn't do it. Anyways, I was a regular joe at a different company that did have a blackout, and I ended up practically losing money through ESPP.
This is incorrect. Unless you are some VP who is under blackout, 95% of the employees ESPPs are the only way to make money with PayPal stock right now is ESPPs. Even if it dropped to $10 tomorrow, if it stayed there until April, and somehow you weren't laidoff by then, you would get 15% discount on that $10.
It's pretty rare for ESPP to have a loss, I'd be more concerned about those RSUs. It sc--wed me over back when share prices hit 300 then crashed. Man. That just...su-ked.
