According to the Triangle Business Journal, the men’s store is closing and merchandise will be crammed into the main store. It will be a complete trashy mess!

The separate men's store wasn't really necessary. Every time I went in there, it was always dead and low staffed. It's been in Crabtree for over a decade and people still don't know that the men's store is separate from the main Belk.
Hopefully the 458 store remodeling will include fixing the HVAC system. The building is too cold in the winter and too hot in the summer. It's like they don't run any kind of air except for the 3rd floor (where the top management offices are).
@b4 it was bought by a Saudi Arabian company and they are remodeling a lot of the stores. Heard they are trying to turn it into a luxury mall, which is strange. But with 458 being a big door for belk, it’ll hit the company hard.
@em do you mean sold it for....and who
I wonder what they sold that too and who? Von Maur expand Dillards
I remember when the men's store was included in the Crabtree store, but since they moved, both stores have expanded their inventory. They're doing a whole remodel of the store but it will be interesting to see how they're going to squeeze the men's store back in the current store.
If 458 is a golden door and closing their men’s store, what hope is there for neighborhood stores? Something doesn’t pass the sniff test with this.
