JG4 US about 3.5% assume strong but IDK my line manager didn't tell me
@r9 say yes to everything and deliver more than promised, use your skills to fill gaps in other teams, work 10-14 hrs a day including fridays & weekends… not worth it imo.
@r8 if you are that job group
@q0
No kidding. I'm also at 80% PIR
@n4 Can you share in general nature what you did to get Outstanding ? Successful project start up/ deal making/ etc ?
@qw You can view the range in WorkDay, under your compensation profile.
Can someone share the jg4 salary range for Canada?
Also Canada always getting shafted
@qb if you weren't so low in the PIR already, you probably wouldn't have gotten a raise.
My guess is you are new to the JG based on PIR and that you have a job still. Hang in there and work a PIP. If you aren't given one, give yourself one and show your lead the progress through the year. Also, to be safe, apply for jobs.
Little ashamed but real info:
JG4 Upstream
Tier 3
Lower
Last year PIR: 82%
This year PIR: 81%
No raise in PIR, but a 1% raise in salary.
Still have a job
Think "typically", "allegedly", "fill in the blank caveat" ... 80% receive strong. And "fill in the blank caveat" it's a net zero operation for those outside of strong...so, lowers have to make up for outstanding and higher... Also, I dont know first hand, that's just what someone told someone told this board that told me...
@n5 1.5% for higher??? What’s the point
US
Jg4
Strong
117% PIR
0% raise
US JG3, higher, 1.5%
US JG4, Outstanding, 8%, previous 104% PIR
US JG4, Higher, %4 (previously 114% PIR on 122 - 182 scale)
What % of people get higher, strong, and lower?
JG4, Higher, 1.98%
Did us Canucks get the shaft this year?!
JG3 higher 5.2%.
A fun fact is to review your benefits coverage to determine scale and scope of pay change. Jg4 for team Canada 1.28%
@OP just a reminder Wael bonus is 250% of pay.
US Standard Tier 1 pay ranges moved ~2%. First move in several years.
jg5 max from 151 to 155
jg4 max from 182 to 186
jg3 max from 218 to 233
Tier scaled moved ~3%. Gap widens. rich get richer.
@OP jg5 strong and 0.98% raise lol. Had to sacrifice for 🐳 modest raise
@OP 4.5% JG3 Strong US, Upstream
@m4 6.7%, higher, ~100% PIR JG4 US
US JG3 1.81%
Strong IPF
USA, JG4, "strong" / 1.0 IPF --> ~3.25%
4%, JG4
It's live in the US now.
It’s not live. Wait till bpf is announced. Will probably be live by early next week
it is less trustworthy and relevant every year
it wash pushed for over a decade and then as soon as manager’s started getting bad rankings, the promotion to take it ended and the excuse of “that’s covid an reshapes, nothing more to it” has taken over as a permanent reason to change nothing
honestly shell is the only company i’ve heard of where you can become the lowest level of manager and become invincible for eternity
Yep, no increase. Yet some must be happy as the SPS seems to imply people are happy with their compensation.
@ag doesn’t look like it’s live same 2x # as last year. US based
JG3, Canada. No increase.
@a3 last year I thought the merit increase was not live for me either. Turns out I got no increase. US JG3.
@ag man, it’s 1.5x now? It used to be 2x. When did the change happen?
US here. Right now it looks like it’s less than 1% but I am not convinced that the new number is actually live yet because I am well within rounding error and don’t recall the old number.
For the curious, you can figure out your raise percentage by logging into fidelity net benefits and checking your life insurance coverage and then dividing it by 1.5. as it shows clearly state in the portal, your life insurance coverage is 1.5x your base pay.
then you can take that number and divide it by your current base salary in workday to to get the raise %
Doesn’t look like it’s live yet for US at least for me
