To pose for pictures in authentic Indian garb of course!
@e2 this leadership is in the image of 'leadership' in the US. Everything you said, can be said about L2/L3 here as well - tech or non-tech. Like minded, non-threatening, people are pulled up. As a consequence, the fish is rotting from the head. We have size and momentum, so it will be a while before fidelity becomes a shadow of it's former self. It's almost a natural cycle that most companies go through.
Despite India's focus on technology, a significant issue persists within its leadership: many senior leaders lack essential technical and business acumen. Instead, their most valued skill is often "storytelling" and crafting elaborate PowerPoint presentations, an obsession that consumes their time. Due to a lack of deep industry or consulting experience, these "best" presentations appear unimpressive to a professional audience, highlighting a wasted focus on "pomp and show."
If they ever make me SVP I’m heading there then Ireland.
India is tragic site for most companies now.
