For those let go, are this layoffs being done during the 1.1 meetings?

If I got a 1 x 1 invite from my bosses boss with just the two of us scheduled for 2/11, should I be concerned that I might be laid off? (Meeting invite was sent on 2/4. I’ve never met with my bosses boss before. No context to the invite)
I've been here for almost 40 years. I got a meeting on my calendar at 7:45a for an 8a meeting. It was just my boss. No HR. I heard they only bring in HR if they think the employee is going to cause a problem. The managers were not consulted and had no idea. They were just told that they were losing X number of employees from their team. But not who it would be.
Mine was a meeting with my boss's boss. I got a calendar invite at 8am in the morning with just him. I heard there were layoffs coming and to watch out for the invite on a Thursday, especially the 29th. I didn't have anything on my calendar Wednesday and thought I might be good. Completely blind sided. I was a high performer and with the company 14 years. I hope those that got laid off, find something meaningful. For those that got to stay, I hope the work burden is not too great. Hang in there!

You’ll get a meeting invite with your mgr and an hr rep.
The hr rep lays everything out and then your mgr hangs on to answer questions. They have been coached on what not to say.
