Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Question for those formerly displaced..

If you were previously displaced, did you get your annual bonus? Or do they find a reason not to give it? I had a “meets” rating at midyear before displaced in Oct. so didn’t get an annual review due to the timing. I met the eligibility cut off because I was employed through September 30, 2025. Thank you.

I would prefer not hearing from anybody just speculating, rather people who have been displaced and can speak on experience.

I was displaced in March. The months before I was given a 2% increase but was told no bonus pool payout. I was at a Meets rating. That was one of the signs I knew the displacement notice was coming soon.

I was displaced on 9/30/25. Last pay period (60 day WARN) was 11/28. So far, have not seen any bonus come my way.

Or find out you have an IM without even knowing it...

I've displaced people and marked their bonus as zero.

I think I am one of those rare cases that got my full (albeit pro-rated) bonuses compared to my prior year of service. I was impacted at the end of October after getting an IM rating for midyear but an Exceeds rating the prior year end. I was very fortunate to have a department leader to truly had my back and ensured I would walk away with a substantial bonus as a front line manager who was impacted via location strategy. It all depends on how much the department leader is willing to fight for you, despite whatever pressure they are feeling from above to cut people and associated costs. Best wishes - there is life after Wells Fargo - and many great career opportunities with much better work environments.

@as wrong, only applies to if you resign and have a required notice period. if you are laid off you are still eligible.

I was laid off in September and got NO bonus - not surprised, but ticked off as I had been working crazy hours to get a key regulatory deliverable done on time (and got my parts done). First time I was ever denied a bonus after years of great reviews and bonuses, but you have no recourse at that point.

This is the last year for that they changed it so you can’t be on a notice period. So if displaced this year or prior to bonus payment in 2027 you will not receive.

In this thread from earlier this week a severee from Jun got a bonus, running contrary to the Oct cut-off you allude to:

There are management teams who think it’s ok to shaft the departed in an attempt to goose the measly bonus pools for the survivors. It’s all just crumbs for the have-nots regardless.
