Thread regarding Optum layoffs

C-Suite Has Money. What they desperately want is respect.

Give them none.

Skeletor, Cuervo Swerve-O, and SD have no compunction about making our experience as employees worse. From cutting our 401k match to delusional AI boosterism, they've demonstrated they are incapable of leading.

Mock them for the hacks they are whenever you can.

@a2 OP here - good point! Asking good, thoughtful questions in a tactful way is absolutely the best way to rebuild some sort of normalcy.

I'm still gonna take dumps on the cake-eaters online, but I agree that in person, we should all channel our best selves and meet their idiocy with questions that demand honest accounting for their decisions.

@OP When you're in an email thread or live call that shows their lack of tact, understanding of healthcare, basic business knowledge, or understanding of human empathy beyond the Indian subcontinent, call them out.

No, not like a j3rk, but asking questions in an elementary way that makes you sound a bit ignorant but deferring to their wisdom and authority to educate you. This baits them. This frustrates them when they have to explain their id1ocy. It further erodes their credibility among other leaders.

This works in a group setting and you can only do it if you've otherwise ingratiated yourselves to others so they do not perceive your sn@rk.

The house of cards is built on manipulation and buddy system. I guarantee any face you see on a screen or bouncing 100x like Tigger is playing along and is well protected. The stock could go to $100 and there are no repercussions internally.

The only way to fix this mess is frustrating them to take their ball and go home... or to do so yourself. Optum will be gone within 2-3 years unless SD and his clowns are gone in 3-6 months.
