If I am affected by RIF, will I need my managers approval to apply internally even with less than a year tenure?
If less than a year as 601 can I move up to 602?

If you’re impacted by RIF, there’s a team of HR who does Redeployment of resources across LOB’s and directly reach out to the hiring manager for scheduling the interview. Probably you should get a mail from them.
