Thread regarding TIAA (TIAA-CREF) layoffs

Is there a way to tell on Workday if you’ll get a promotion?

For the employee performance review, I see a step greyed out labeled “ Review Promotion Nomination- Not required”.

Does this appear for everyone or only for those that may get a promotion? Also, what do the ratings mean? Is “Leading” the highest rating?

Did your manager say you were getting a promotion? Why not check with your manager?

I just had my performance discussion and received a promotion. The line item still says “Not Required.” There may be a delay from when that updates based on the review being complete and signed off.

My manager and director both submitted a promotion request on my behalf, and I am seeing this same “Not Required” box on Workday. My review is tomorrow an I plan to ask about this

Time to get rid of performance reviews and replace them with a more modern way to treat employees. Performance Reviews are nothing but BS blowing smoke up the A.S.S.

Look up 'Performance Rating Scale' on the Intranet. As the "Leading" is 95% to 120% of target, it's basically the old "3" for Meeting standards. The enterprise distribution indicates 60% of employees should get that rating. The highest rating is "Excelling" which is 120% to 200% of target. It indicates 20% will get that rating. 20% seems high. 20% of the people in this company do not drive "exceptional" results above goals and expectations.

The rating scale is 1-4. “Leading” is a 3 rating.

Variable compensation range is 95%-120% of your target bonus percentage.
