Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Below Meets: Bonus Thread

For those that got an IM or NI, what was your comp discussion like? Any raise and what bonus?

This was my first full year and got IM at year end for basically no reason. Whatever.

  • No raise … I’m already paid on the higher end of my title, also located in major hub

  • Bonus … same $ as stated in my offer letter, about 15%

@k8 wrong. In a prior year, My recommendation was overturned by my two up who lowered one of my staff IM bonus by a lot. They definitely got less than 50% of prior year.

@jk I have the exact opposite experience. My 1:1's have remained bi-weekly even though my manager knows I'm getting reorged to another group. They're also trying to help me position an initiative I am about to propose for maximum impact and visibility to the level of management that will make the decision about my future.

YMMV

@jh That’s exactly what I got my first time getting IM found out today. Actually surprised thought it would be lower.

guidance is - below meets, no raise. bonus a minumum of 20% lower than prior year. can't go lower than 50% of prior year.

@jj

Not the one you replied to but you all are having consistent 1:1s since reviews? I haven’t had any with my manager. On our comp discussion, I asked what needed to change to not be IM and they said I’ve already shown I’m not going to be.

Sooo what gives? Why did you give it to me in the first place!!

@jh same boat. Guessing your 1 on 1's are now as fun as mine, where everything is picked apart and scrutinized more than anyone else.

As a first time IM, no merit, 80% of last years bonus. Above mid in pay band.

Sounds like it didn't cost me that much, but trust with management is gone. I got to find something else as this is some buĺllllllshiiiiit....

@f0 maybe. I've posted before it was questionable at best that they hit me with this, so maybe that is why.

Sounds like it didn't cost me all that much. If alot of meets aren't getting merit either.

This was covered in the other thread. Don't understand why someone else needed to create a new thread.

If this is your first year, the bonus is fixed at your offer, unless something really bad happened.

@a6 most people in risk are getting no merit even if exceeds….only people getting something are if they are low in their band.

@OP IM will impact both merit and bonus. Depending where you sit. In Corp Risk it mean no merit and a significant hit to your bonus.
