I'm getting tired of hearing those at the top talking about their intentions to make this company better. Does anyone still believe in that while Ford is visibly sinking? I doubt that there are many who still believe them.

In order to hold the suppliers accountable evidence and Proof is needed. The warranty engineers have an impossible job. No company or person is going to pay for a liability with no proof. That is just good business.
We really need to implement a broad tier 1 Q1 requirement.
If a supplier's plant in BFE SE Asia causes a recall, put that suppliers entire company on a global no-bid list. Put the liability on them for a change, and make them fight themselves internally to fix pur issues.
I am tired of dealing with a supplier that is constantly close to loosing their Q1 and has almost shut down Dearborn truck multiple times, all while their other plant making similar parts is voted supplier of the year and awarded a new 500m contract.
Stop telling me there is no way to hold them accountable for their shotty quality. All their profits flows back to German or Japan all the same.
If you are not confident in the Company, don't invest in Ford stock.
If you are not happy working there, leave. If you think you can't leave because you would have to take a pay cut, want continue accruing a pension benefit, or don't have transferable skills, stop whining and accept the choice you have made.
Who is the clown that believes the townhalls are an indication of real transformation? All those supposed leaders are REJECTS from Apple, Tesla, HP, etc. The townhalls are nothing more than a circus of smoke and mirrors. Plenty of silly and stupid videos of employees that pretend to solve problems and smile and pat each other on the back. Garbage. The only truth I've heard from Musk lately is " Design is Overrated, Engineering is Underrated." We need to apply that ASAP. Decks full of bs design jargon will not produce desirable vehicles, let alone correct all the quality issues. Farley is a disgrace. He's incapable of leading Ford. Hopefully, the Fords will muster the courage to right the wrong, removing him and the rest of the fakes ASAP.

There is nothing happening positive for this company right now. Nothing. The THs are jokes. The leaders from the best tech companies suck (that's why they aren't still at those companies!). You really need to remove your head from your rear orifice.
How can you honestly say "no real action" ???
The company is in the midst of its largest company transformation EVER and you say no real action? Do you even attend and actually listen to the townhalls? Have you even noticed the leadership we now have from all the best tech companies out there?
It is so disheartening that we are changing the company for the better but so many refuse to embrace it.
I have to say I agree with the OP. It is a very different company when I hired in. I retired last fall. All I ever hear from JF, or some company cheerleader is did you not see the TOWNHALL? Fact is the TH did not provide any information. When people ask questions in chat they are not answered. JF sorry your feelings are hurt sometimes but you do not provide a vision or plan for people. Especially those in ICE or Ford Blue.
You tell the press or Wall Street you have too many people then turn around and hire 9k engineers in Mexico. you need to explain how both NA & Mexico fit into the PD process.
We know Mexico is not a major Ford market so what are the defined R&R's for Brazil, Mexico, & India vs. Dearborn? Courage is MAJOR characteristic of a solid leader. So far, I do not see or hear that out of our senior management. And focus on quality. When I hired in Quality is Job 1 meant something. It was not a PUNCHLINE. That blue flag was taken seriously. Get rid of TVM focus on Q1.

It’s like the Lions over the past 50 years….they try to hype us up, but deep down we really know the product and leadership is garbage.
