@ai I feel sorry for your handsome friend. They shouldn’t be hanging out with the likes of an ugly knuckle-headed narcissist like yourself. It’s gonna be a matter of time before they realize ur just using them to be a $!mp around women. That is some low and pathetic ish. Go take some responsibility and start acting like an adult. I bet you are one of those five foot five F-boys who always wears an all black fit like an emo dwarf. If HP hasn’t already, I’m sure they will WFR you. You don’t deserve a good job and you don’ t deserve friends. GTFO!

Having HP as the only company on your resume is like having only a single brain cell inside your head.

Not sure what prompted some of the comments below but bs k on topic with OP:

Yeah unfortunately it’s no surprise to be in your situation. This is particularly true if you’re in engineering. It’s not really engineering at HP unless you’re part of TDC and even that is still outsourced to ODMs. HP contributes to probably 30% of the product with internal resources. Everything and everyone else just works on making PowerPoints.

A lot of my technical skills at HP were developed by making myself learn technologies practicing it on my own since the company spends hundreds of thousands of dollars on engineering software licenses and lab equipment that no one uses. Even I left HP, I also had a somewhat difficult time with interviews. But I’ve been with current employer for a while now and it’s far more technical than HP.

Having HP is good to have on a resume but once you get that interview, they’ll be how shocked to see how incompetent HP is by not providing their people with building their skill sets. Such is a company that outsources everything to a degree that everyone just sits around all day and goes to corporate on-site events. Productivity is horrible.

Let’s be real for a sec. Most people at HP can’t afford to go to Vegas

"People who work at HP can only get older basic looking cougars who wear fake hair. Only way they can pull younger is if they pay thousands of dollars for it in Vegas. They probably spend that much on cougars too. No chance of them ever finding true love and being happy."

You seem to speak from experience, especially with Las Vegas rent-a-lady. And you are so pathetic that you upvote yourself multiple times (to compensate for the downvotes you receive in real life from those "ladies at the bar" who see right through you).

HP experience currently carries zero weight for job applicants. Start working now on certifications in cloud and data security. Certs from AWS, Snowflake, and many others carry real weight in job applications.

You need to network with people who are better than you. Whenever I approach women at the bar by myself or with a friend that’s just as basic looking as I am they usually brush me off, but whenever I’m seen with my other friend who happens to be handsome they become more open to being approached and even buy me drinks sometimes.
