Thread regarding T-Mobile layoffs

Be magenta!

Does anyone even buy anything on Be Magenta!? Like what’s the point? For one, everything is expensive, also, why would I want to buy any T-Mobile related merch and get lay off the next day. What? Use my $80 T-Mobile hoody as a pijama and make myself feel worse by looking at the logo of the company who didn’t care about me?

Only wear free items at work, or as a night shirt.
Have a great camo sweatshirt. Blacking out the T with a marker. Looks fine.

(Laid off with 5000 others in 2023. Long time Sprint emp)

I’ve got so many T shirts and sweaters from being here 10 plus years but stopped wearing that cr-p after the first round 2020. I donated all my stuff or use the shirts to clean around the house or yard work. I turn the shirts inside out.

I wouldn’t be caught dead wearing that huge T outside of work. He-l nah.

@fj it looks like you never bought anything from there. Employees used to spend their money buying T-Mobile gear and wear with pride, that’s not longer the case, I doubt that 90% of the employees are happy now days and would even attempt to spend a single dime on their brand, like someone else said, we used to spend $50 to $90 for a sweater and literally advertised the brand for free, people would come to work existed wearing their new gear and everyone had something to say about it. Even on X, when employees used to use X as their main social media, they would post how more than half of their closet was magenta. At this point why would you keep spending money on making merch and gear no one is going to buy and will just end up being wasted, many of those are name brand.

@fj Its related because they wanted to say it. Who made you the post police?? Its really pretty simple, if you don't like the subject, DONT READ further.

@fj It’s related because employees used to advertise the brand for free often proudly. Layoffs and the constant fear of them kinda ruin the vibe

I used to. Its all i wear to the office now though. May as well get some use out of them while I can. I think the store is mainly meant for in person customer facing roles.

Omg, hilarious. The Frisco campus too? They sunk a lot of money in there.
