The rest are to work in very limited squads and save money. GT Sr LT - do you really work like that?

Wake up GT they are getting ready to lay off another big chunk of you at WHQ. Will happen before June, likely late March or early April. It’s been in the works for months now - lists are made and packages are being prepped for execution day. Your jobs are mostly moving to ITC. EH could not be more clear - he buried tech again under Ops and is positioning product as king (good move) and to do that he has to claw the money out of tech.
There have been 16 jobs that were internally posted for GT and then without warning, they were reposted to ITC? So no individual contributor jobs allowed or promotions, but we can hire 5 VP and SRDirectors at WHQ.
Almost all GT Sr Leaders in WHQ come from India and that is a reason why ITC. no one talks about it out loud
@a1 bro, morale already hit the side walk and a couple of times.
Nike is a dying company. Slowly getting milked of all value like Toys R Us or Blockbuster. Our leaders are filling their pockets with stolen wealth. They have no interest in growing the business across the next decade.
Wealth is extracted from payroll through ITC leadership. Eastern European tech is the same price and twice the quality. Why didn’t we choose them? They lack a critical piece of culture, under the table kickbacks.
Where else can value be stolen from Nike? Selling off subsidiaries, intellectual property, & chunks of the company. Converse will happen within 2-3 years. Selling off Jordan will be the final nail in the coffin.
Physical assets like store locations and outlying chunks of WHQ will also be sold off to the chosen few, then rented back by the company. All ostensibly to improve relations with our retail partners.
But it is all the same sin. Leaders fattening themselves by shaving flesh off the beast.
But why....?
Cheap labor maybe, but half-cocked. ITC can barely keep a system alive. They don't work, and when they do, it's like someone gave a high schooler an internship and too much access.
Saw the other post about a hack. This is why it happens. Rotating leaders, minimizing staff that actually care and are seasoned, hiring cheap contractors with no loyalty to the brand.
Sad
