Thread regarding T-Mobile layoffs

Good job, leadership

Now everyone is looking to leave. People are openly talking about their job searches at work. The atmosphere is totally different, like nobody believes in staying here anymore, and for a good reason. Its the worst Ive seen it.

Companies don’t care in the current job market. For now, companies hold all of the cards.

Maybe a bigger company will buy us and guarantee us jobs for the next two years.

Exactly what they want to hear. Misery attrition. If you leave they owe you nothing. Mundane tasks. Empty promises "go forward team." Training programs "careers not jobs" which means if you aren't "upskilling" your missing IDP training initiatives. If you dont know what McKinsey has to do with any of this do some research.

What does McKinsey have to do with anything? Educate the newbs. Leaving willingly is what they want. Make them pay you to leave!!! The market is saturated with laid off workers. Set your feelings aside and make smart decisions for yourself and your family!!

mckinsey effed up the culture of the company... why would anyone want to stay at this toxic company? they've retained burnt out employees who are looking to leave (or hoping to get laid off) at the first opportunity, doing the bare minimum until that happens
