I’m hearing for the new orange contract for mobility they are going to continue permanent WORK FROM HOME for those employees under orange contract. Then they will hire near end of year for WFH. Anyone heard of possible outcome for the Orange contract ?

LOL to the person who posted, "Orange contract is a scam". The Orange contract covers 36 or 37 states. The Black and Purple contracts only cover 5 or so. The Orange contract is the contract that holds the most leverage out of all Mobility contracts. And usually whatever Orange negotiates, the Black and Purple fall in line with that of Orange. To comment that the Orange contract is "atrocious" is funny.
To answer the original question, every Mobility contract has WFH employees and although the rumor is they are keeping that title doesnt automatically mean they will hire for it. Personally, in my opinion, I do not see the Company hiring any more of this permanent WFH in the near future. This title was created during the COVID years and since, the Company has favored the hybrid model more than any other title. I do not think Orance could even negotiate and demand the Company hire a certain number of those titles.

@OP The Orange Contract is primarily for the Mobility side of the house, and that includes AT&T Wireless stores, In Home Experts, Call Centers, Tower Techs, and the like. You can find updates here: https://cwalocal9333.com/att-mobility/
AT&T is pushing hard to sell off corporate stores to vendors.
It is true that CWA has a heavy focus on Wireline (or Core) members, but that's just because that is where most of our members are, and thus where most of our dues come from.
Orange contract is a scam. Union uses your dues for core contract. Orange contract is atrocious to its members. You all are better off without CWA. Hold an election to convert to the Teamsters contract..
