AI profile photos on the rise in IT

Go take a look at the profile pictures of all of the usual “look at me!” suspects in IT. They’ve found a cool new superficial way to draw attention to themselves through artificial intelligence via photo filtering and touch ups of themselves. ROFLMAO!!

Nothing like taking a powerful business productivity tool and turning into your own personal Keurig for your vanity. Just go get the facelift you’ve been searching the web for, will you?

@1sh That manager and his manager are both active members of that politics filled clique. They have both been propping up and encouraging toxic behavior for the last year or so.

The director means well but they're so busy with other things that he doesn't see what's happening under his nose. The entire endpoint department has become cancerous and toxic for the last 10 months, just look to see who got promotions into leadership and you'll see exactly where the toxicity and ineptitude has been encouraged.

@1s8 and it will never be checked. He’s buddies with his manager and his manager is buddies with the director, and the director is focused solely on himself.

@1ps The core clique has ran completely unchecked for the last 9 months and is actively being encouraged by the head of endpoint. The culture is dead and the venom has spread throughout the department; I've never seen it this bad before in IT - it's unbearable.

I’ve seen a few like that. It’s odd behavior in my opinion. I get wanting to touch up a blemish and hide it but this is beyond that. One person’s photo I saw is unrecognizable at a glance.

Department culture and morale are degrading. It reminds me of junior high school girls. All about the clothes, shoes, hairstyle, and cliques. It use to be a lot more friendly and focused on the work. The department has lost that.

I've seen them. Nothing says, "I'm desperate for attention and compliments!" quite like publishing a photo of yourself that's so filtered it makes you completely unrecognizable.
