Ennoconn will design, manufacture, warrant, supply and ship self-checkout and point-of-sale hardware directly to NCR Voyix customers, with NCR Voyix acting as a hardware sales agent coordinating the purchase and delivery of hardware to customers. As a result of the hardware transition, NCR Voyix is expected to record revenue from hardware sales on a net basis, starting in the second quarter of 2026.

It took forever to actually happen, just like everything with these NCR companies, their technology also greatly lags the competition along with competitiveness in the industry
This outsource was announced in Aug 2024. Ennoconn and NCRV spent lot of money for consultants and building new supporting systems and probably still are. Yes, NCRV would still cover warranty and services so Ennoconn margins will be thin.. It will be a longg wait for them to see any profits. NCRV may have got better deal here as they don't have to worry about hardware OPEX anymore.. but headaches will be there for both sides
Sounds like Voyix has become a glorified Field Nation.
It says “Warrant” which I assume is Warranty, if they use Voyix to install, and do warranty work they will not be profitable Voyix charges top dollar within the market, I would suspect they are planning to use a contract company, which maybe Voyix, maybe not?
So who’s going to install it and fix it? It sure as h3ll wont fix itself.
