Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

HR redesign and Layoff

I am not hearing anything from my management but we know LBT is holding HR’s feet to the fire to layoff and outsource most of HR. We know it is coming soon, however it has been crickets? Any insight out there.

Over bloated org with no use but negative value add. What is he doing with the old Sachin and Saf groups? Still around?
Intel hired large numbers of people in 2021 and 2022. The exes were giving each others high fives for hiring 1000 people a week. This happened when the job market was extremely hot. We hired really low quality people. After a number of layoffs, those people are the ones that have stayed and survived. Impossible to turn around the company with weak employee base especially in tech.

They need to begin outsourcing now to start this because it will require some actual work instead of talking

H.R. was part of our down fall. I went on record reporting a manager who demoralized employees and didn’t care about product quality. This id--t said: “Lets do it like Microsoft and let the customers find all the bugs”. After meeting with H.R. and sharing my concerns I got a lateral and that same manager was promoted a year later. Glad to see that Intel H.R. will be no more.

You can vote it down but you can’t make it go away. Welcome to the light of day. Buy bye 👋

If H.R. actually did the job they pretend to do, Intel would have known we were building cr-p products all in the name of management roadmap bonuses for 25 years. Oh…I’m sure that came up in an employee grievance or two.

Aww poor baby’s. I have some advice…Have an open door meeting and share your concerns. Then we can put you on a pip and work really hard to make you quit or legally fire you.

At least an outsourced H.R. won’t pretend to give a sh-t about the employees.

If you think an outsourced HR will somehow be in your best interest, then by all means hope for that.

H.R. being laid off/outsourced? So sorry but I just have to laugh really hard because of that. 😆 What comes around goes around. F me...F you.

@a2 No-Body Expects The Spanish Inquisition!

But yeah, outsourcing HR is a no-brainer, imo.
