A 4 rating out of 5 and bonus

I got my review. It was a 4 out of 5 and Ive been here about 4 years. I feel great, but does anybody have experience knowing how much more I can expect to get in my incentive/yearly bonus vs the historical 3s I usually get? I know this is up to corporate goals as well but it appears we are on target for all of them. On average, I think Ive been getting a shade under my full bonus, so hoping that I get my full with this 4 and the effort I put into it this year.

Glad someone has gotten a rating above a 3. I was told I produce excellent work, blah blah blah, but they can’t rate anyone above a 3 on my team.

I would estimate 10-15% higher than a 3 assuming everything else is the same. If you got 115% of bonus at 3, then between 125% and 130% of bonus at 4. YMMV

I got a 4 last year but because my larger department came in under their goals for the year my bonus was less than the prior year hitting a 3.

I got a 5! 200% baybee!!

Kidding, I did get a 5 but I’m sure the payout will be closer to 130-150%

Difference of about $100-200 bucks.

Congrats on the 5 though, it helps you if you try leaving to another department. Not a promotion within yours though.

@OP congrats! Well, it depends on what HR recommends to the Board and what the Board votes for. But at a 4 you may receive 110% of what you’re eligible for.
