@2an
An individual employee investing a few hundred pounds is not going to help the company much I'm afraid. The big financial institutions control the show and at this moment they see more negatives than positives. Anyone buying the stock over the past year or so is suffering significant losses.

@27g this is factually incorrect - the last cohort that matured doubled their money in the share investment plan. If people want to support business stability and also have a chance to impact the company’s performance and thereby their future, then this is an opportunity, not a negative.

The stock has been cr-p for over 20 years now; any rank-and-file employee is a fool to invest, even if you participated in the ESPP. You could make more money holding on to Star Wars Lego sets until they retire.

@cz
They did stock buybacks all of last year and ended with a double-digit decline in share price ?

They will have to do share buyback - its the only way their stock rises this year.

If Pearson keep Omar they are done for.

It’s going lower for as long as the leader of our enterprise division (who has delivered precisely nothing) continues to seem more like an escaped dementia patient lost in Switzerland than an individual capable of delivering a product anyone wants.

This must be why we need so many Advanced Specialists in the company now 🤣

@OP this often happens when they bring in a bunch of reject consultants who couldn’t make partner in their old firm. And have now ruined what used to be a decent education & testing company
