@aw good one!
@m1 retirement is the future
Abandon all hope ye who enter here!
Oracle moved to Nashville because Larry thought healthcare (Cerner) was the future. Now they're saying AI is the future. What's the future going to be next year, Larry???
Right, I'm going to move my family from the West Coast where things are modern, gorgeous (and yeah, sadly expensive but worth it..) to Nashville?
Obviously, you are not a team player. You have been added to the list. Don't let the door hit you in the a$$ on the way out!
Right, I'm going to move my family from the West Coast where things are modern, gorgeous (and yeah, sadly expensive but worth it..) to Nashville? To work under Clay and his bunch of wanna be's? I call this a career limiting move, I'll pass thanks...
All the d@7heads are there.
@fe Well, you'll learn a lot... about Oracle products. If you're involved with their engineered systems, how transportable are those skills? You're using their custom ticketing and ordering systems, so depending on how similar they are to the well known systems companies are using, you'll not have that buzzword on your resume.
A lot of customers are using our engineered systems but how many of them are hiring?
Not attractive jobs, do not recommend if you do not want to freeze your career and skills for years.
Low pay and no annual raises, it's a shock they aren't lined up around the block to apply.
@br Campus will not be ready till 2031. Rent in the area is way to high for most.. Larry’s Swan Song will be nice, but the curb appeal to young sales kids will be far too expensive to live. Only time will tell.

=> Looks like Nashville’s short on “Day One Ready” Boomers to keep up with all the AI tech jobs popping up :0):0):0):0):0)
The pay is probably too low to attract qualified applicants :0):0):0):0):0)
Duh. Of course, nobody wants to move to "Nashville". Larry's arrogance yet again moving HQ there.
Hiring? You made the first letter typo.
Well, if they can't find the people locally, and nobody wants to relocate, maybe they should rethink the whole "in office" model for this.
