I keep seeing Glassdoor reviews for Allstate calling it a great place to work…so who has written those? They seem fake to me!

I’m sure a handful of folks are happy. Boot lickers, for example, seem to thrive. And there must be pockets of good jobs at Allstate somewhere. Not where I am, for sure.
Glassdoor generates it revenue through companies that pay to be a “preferred” employer. Glassdoor then “works” with paying companies to “enhance” their employer brand. One way to achieve this is by Glassdoor, NOT posting what they deem as negative reviews. So when Glassdoor says “we don’t remove negative reviews” they’re playing the spin game because they are never posted in the first place!
In age ofAI and fake bot accounts, you be the judge. Big Blue knows it doesn't have a great reputation as far as its layoff culture.
It’s been great to me. Haven’t done real work there in over a year. Not great place to grow a career but a great one to park at
If they start using words holistic and culture then you know they are Ivory Tower planted reviews.
Seen one from T. Wilson....seems legit 👌
They’re using the Allstate corpospeak “great place to work” so take a few guesses who is writing them. I wouldn’t put much faith in glassdoor these days.
