@OP Ya Shoulda Taken The Profit!

Actually, isn't 6% the expected loss after earnings?

I think the SEC has mandated it from Intel or something.

Super Dave didn't have much to say, so the stock gave up the pre-earnings pop.

But see if LBT can provide more excitement.

The things that would really move the stock are not the sort of things covered in earnings calls, but there may be room to discuss what has changed in Ohio site planning, and why..

If the market can drag Intel back somewhat, I'm all for loading up again, for the coming ride is big.

Five minutes into the earnings call, and stock is already down 6.4 %.

LOL. Crash and burn - every time, just like I told you.

@1d6 I'm expecting them to announce that they have adding High-NA EUV to 18A, enabling the company to add Apple as a customer, resulting in an accelerated ramp for the Ohio site.

Other than that, should just be the usual stuff.

I'd be the first to agree that INTC, and virtually everything else, is at extreme valuations, but if what is to come is an IFS turnaround and some product traction, then it can keep dancing till the music stops.

Some are trying valiantly, but it is getting hard to argue against the turnaround that LBT is making happen. A better argument would be about the timing and what is or is not priced in.

But not on this site, because it is just for making ridiculous statements that have no basis in fact.

It's like a site for Stupid and Stupider.

@c1 if a stock always does something after some event then the event gets priced in. If you really believe that, load up on puts full margin.

It is still cheap, compared to when it hits $150.

@em
Earnings will be interesting, but I think the forward looking statements will steal the show.

Someone mentioned Def Met? Can someone clarify their involvement with this recent run up in INTC?

Intel already said that Windows 11 stoked demand. Meanwhile, Keybank analyst said that the server chips from Intel and AMD are almost sold out. Place your bets if you are sure either way....

INTC will crash hard with the upcoming earnings release. It always does. Doesn't matter if the news is good or bad, INTC ALWAYS crashes big time after earnings release.
