@OP It's obvious Sammy-Sun is looking for cash cows and from the comments on this board, he and his minions have made life miserable for reps to meet unrealistic sales quotas and if the reps exceed the number, management just moves it up to another level. They obviously don't anyone to make money and shift the business model to the dealer channels. All this will accomplish is reps will merely do the bare minimum until they move on to the competition. Canon's reputation has been tanked because of a sociopathic CEO and his obsession with AI will not see a good ROI...ever. Sammy and his goons have a track record of botching everything they touch. In fact, everything they touch turns to increment.

@dc I heard there was a morning portion that was only attended by directors and above. If you didn't see them in the afternoon, they most likely spoke during the morning to other execs.
@dz the emcee had all the personality of a wal-mart greeter at a concentration camp and like all things bubbly empty inside except for the hot air.

I found the new format of the meeting very interesting! Another way to confuse us more about our direction! Very grateful we didn’t have to hear from the other exec-id--ts. MO, PK, RM, etc.
Sammy should be able to answer the questions during the Q & A session without deflecting and passing the buck to other people. These were easy questions and we deserve to hear our President’s response.

Boy it was so nice hearing for the first time (although obviously suspected) that your division and others like it at Canon specifically will soon be replaced by AI, because "think of the profits!" But then, "We're going to make you superhuman!", and then immediately after, "smaller teams and higher profits!"
The messaging was ridiculous and I guess everyone outside of senior management and shareholders needs to start looking for a new job. Great morale boost. Thanks.
