Has anyone in any other markets gotten better direction from their management than we got on our internal call this week regarding selecting "NO" and what that means for having to stay to get severance?
It was flat out asked that if/when I select "No" on relocation and "Yes" to the severance by the March deadline - when will I be let go or when can I take another job and still keep my severance? There was no answer - it wasn't known.
I have an offer on the table and my future employer is flexible to a point with my start date as I disclosed this situation to them but certainly not 6 months down the road.
Any insights would be appreciated.
