@j8 honestly if you're an engineer that worked on so low quality projects, where the work is repetitive then yes you would have this view, ask real engineers and they will laugh at you, it's a efficiency tool not a replacement

@k3 it can replace sub par talent not the real ones, you should study rather reading news and watching YouTube, reality will surprise you.

@ez

People don't understand that today AI is No where near in replacing real talent.

You don't understand that there's no real talent left! I'm an engineer, I can tell you that I can do any data science job myself with the help of an AI without any issues. Data Science is basically this prompt: "My manager want's to see this story, make the data fit!"

IMO Data Science was a waste before AI and it is insignificant now!

Many people in DSci seem to be impacted, those with many years of domain knowledge being let go. New leaders don’t know anything about US media industry and think they can run it from India by automating everything. Not like the leaders have technical knowledge either, since any question is met with a “use AI” and figure it out!

The corporate stooges want you to be wrong so much they don't see the real world.

@ej even the smartest AI with its current capabilities will drive the model to the ground, today's AI capabilities are extremely limited, it's good for generating pieces of code when a hard and very tailored requirements are given, but even in those cases the "human factor" cannot be taken out, else it will keep iterating garbage. People don't understand that today AI is No where near in replacing real talent.

Yes, heard 15th Jan, in Data Science.

Serious question, what can Data Science do these days that the d-mbest AI can't?
