I've heard some whispers that there shouldn't be any layoffs at least until the next quarter. I don't know if it's true, but thought I'd share just in case. If anybody knows more, let us know.

@2sf They will be. WP leaders seem to be protecting those they have already worked with previously. I tend to believe many of us super legacy leaders from other acquisitions are being "phased out". We will see in Feb.
The lines up with what we are seeing in these larger org meetings. Seems Worldpay may be replacing many among leadership.
I’m hearing from multiple credible sources that the broader RIF is planned for June. N3 leadership announcements are expected in March, followed by N4 leadership announcements in June, likely aligned with a larger layoff. The February action being discussed appears to be more limited in scope, primarily affecting N3 leaders who are not retained, along with a few targeted teams or functions.
This place is a mess
@OP you can expect a pre Valentine’s Day action across most of operations and logistics.
@zy absolutely correct. This will be a roller coaster of a year.
Belt-tightening with reduction in force as the main star, next month.
You can bet there will be layoffs by mid- Feb when we report earnings next.
- Execs will have incentives in the form of performance shares tied to cost savings, aka synergies
- When they report earnings in mid-Feb they'll update earnings for the full year and they'll want to be as positive as possible
- Cut in Feb and save any incentive comp they would have paid to the people getting laid off
- Cut as early in the year as possible to get the full year of benefits
Buckle up.
Per Cam’s email today with the worldpay news, there will be a new org structure coming later this month. Certainly jobs will be cut as a result of this.
I’m certainly hearing there will be a RIF in Feb
I don't know why they would pause lay offs in the beginning of the year. I expect quite a few layoffs this year because of the deal with World Pay.
Not true! There will be rifs in q1…. And 2 and 3….
