Telecom has been harsh on workers for years, and it doesn’t seem to be getting better. If you have a way out, take it. I made the jump and the difference is night and day. There’s a whole world of jobs that actually value you.

@dv Well bro there are employees with over 40 years of service that are not 65 yet.
Do you have any idea of how much pre medicare health insurance costs? Well over $500 a month.
And age discrimination is real when it comes to looking for a new job.
So maybe you need to calm down. Maybe there are some smart employees that have looked at all of their options.
And yes Karma is very real.
@bd can’t leave?? What is lumen going to send someone after them?? Or is it that some people who are nothing more then just “Dead wood” continue to hid behind their seniority knowing they are safe!

Some employees can't leave. Not old enough for medicare/SS.
Too old to have a chance to find any other job.
Not enough skills that any other company would want.
Many are hanging on until they get forced out.
