Has anyone received their pension lump sum or heard when they will receive their lump sum pay out? I retired November 30th and have not heard a word about when it will be paid.

You can call nesc and they will tell you your date. My date is Jan 15th and I left 30th.
My date was Jan 1 but has just been changed to Jan 15th. I think many are in the same situation.
I retired on October 31st and Lump Sum was paid on December 15th
I called NESC today. They said most Nov 30th retirees will get check on Jan 1st, but said some are a bit later. They could see my date is 1/1.
NESC is the worst. I was SIRP'd in August and NESC was grossly unprepared for the actions the company took. However, that was the only option for former employees in order to ANYTHING.
So, clearly, no one knows for sure when NESC will do their jobs. I retired Nov 30 and still shown as active by NESC. They are an absolute mess. Even cashing out my 410k will take time because they will not let me process in one step. Requires 3 separate transactions with 2 business days between each.
it takes 6 weeks
45days
I was SIRP'ed in August 2022. It took just under 8 weeks for me to receive my pension lump sum payment.
Depends on when you filed your paperwork. NESC took forever processing mine (from August) and finally approved it late November. They said the check would be issued January 1.
You will receive it 6 weeks after your last day.
It is no earlier than 30 days past your official retirement date. Due to the number of people involved, might stretch to middle of January.
