Bottom line - don't get stuck here. We've seen they can spring layoffs on us without warning. If that wasn't a wake-up call to stop being complacent, I don't know what is. We all tend to seek false security and get set in our ways. You're not doing yourself any favors. Better to be prepared with other options lined up than to be caught off guard.

It’s me again.. Our communications team hired a company to swatch social media and the internet to look for anything that could damage the US Foods brand and reputation. That company then sends the information to the leaders of the company and who-ever is being mentioned and some of the executice leaders.
You earned it. Hey HR angel. How does the postings hit the desks of other peeps in the company and who gets them.
Please don’t refer to me by the HR angel title. I am only doing my job of putting all of your wellness as my primary goal. I should have done that in the beginning. The email from our CEO asking for reporting motivated me to stand up more often and report as he requested of us but I am doing that on layoffs.com.

This is your friend again. I have spent over many years here and will not give up the ship without a fight. We ARE indeed still a good company because of most of you lovely folks that I have had the pleasure of assisting in the past. We have allowed a corrupt culture and a crooked cop to make this a difficult place to be a loyal and dedicated associate . While yes, looking at other options is always good, I don’t want to lose the talent and good accociates and friends I have made through the decades. I will remain the fly in the ointment and continue to communicate with all of you and I know and assist any ways I can on here until we take back what we took decades to build.
More jobs are planned to move to Accenture and the experiment to automate all warehouses mean we can operate with a quarter of the associates needed in the warehouses. The push is there and the Aurora test site has been bumpy but improving . That and Accenture are the biggest worries to jobs. The unethical security associate who is now on my HR team, remains our biggest worry to decency.
So we know where we stand. Let’s continue working together to get back on track. I will tell you one last thing. These posts are being read and our communications team m does forward them . So you are being heard.
