Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

We're losing some of our best and most experienced folks

You know, the people who actually know how things work. Meanwhile, the leadership ranks just keep getting bigger. I wonder how long this can continue before something breaks.

@OP Things are already breaking and they're being covered up. E.g. Half truths being boasted and celebrated as monumental achievements (see also: Red Herring). Often times embellished/exaggerated as an accomplishment because sustainability testing has been unable to show evidence of successful implementation yet. The praised "leadership" team will be sure to wash their hands clean of the project before the full truth is uncovered, and the poor performance will be attributed to the ones left to clean up the mess.

Rinse, wash, and repeat.

We’re seeing the same thing on a Federal level. Scary times all around.

"Too many chiefs and not enough Indians." -Management is obsessed with getting more Indians.

@a6 which will eventually turn into another “flattening” in due time. This is probably the ebb and flow I see most often.
