I keep hearing that some directors are coming to Pittsburgh for some announcements. I know of two manager directors that are coming from the UK and India. A couple of other managers coming from other US locations. Does anyone know whats going on?

Legacy MDs in Pittsburgh totally senile. There is no future for these or for the center. They should trim this god forsaken place .
Robin doesn’t like Pittsburgh.
Thinks it is a waste of money and not a growth center. Like 500 Grant street, it will be an opportunistic area to be emptied for cost savings in it’s entirety.
@c8 Anything happening in Pittsburgh other than cold weather must be AI-related since that really is the only tether to BNY strategy. A significant number of MDs are holdovers from Mellon Bank, this too was likely negotiated, and the model will be replaced.
WARN NOTICE: Soon the Pittsburgh leadership will also be phased out and sent to the glue factory as most are 'long in the tooth' and no longer important actors or connected with RV and his crooked coterie.
I predict that this will likely be some staged media event where local politicians will announce a new AI strategic initiative or partnership with our Pittsburgh office. It seems quite likely that BNY has negotiated or perhaps even extorted new tax incentives from state politicians. This would be done to temporarily protect a few American jobs in Pittsburgh and fund new facility upgrades and enhancements.
In my view, the presence of the Directors is all part of the business-political theater effect. Here’s a little newsflash: I believe that the timing of this event is consistent with the published earnings release on Friday, January 12th. The main aim seems to be diverting national and local attention from the mass layoffs, showcasing BNY and elected leaders as saviors of jobs and champions of growing AI capabilities.
Many layoffs coming.
