Catalyst/JCP 2026 Paid time off

Rumor has it that with the merger, Catalyst will be reevaluating how they determine Mto. I can say for myself if they pull a stunt like they did two years ago (which they reversed after the uproar), I am leaving. After more than twenty years, the only reason I am still there is because of my six weeks paid time off.

On borrowed time regardless. Brick and mortar stores for clothes and knick knacks are quickly losing marketshare to Amazon. People are getting too lazy to park and walk a long way to navigate the overstocked stores and find the plus size section and big n tall

Ditto. When they did that early 2024 i was going from six weeks mto down to one week. Like you I have over twenty years and had they not changed it back I told my manager I was leaving. I was told there was so much push back from GMs in the stores that HR said we have to fix this or we can say goodbye to the people in the stores that know how things work.
