Internal transfer with 4

Hi, anyone know the course of action I can take in the below situation -

  1. I applied and cleared an interview in October 25
  2. The hiring manager confirmed and reached out to my manager and I am not sure what exactly the conversation was but after a week when I followed up I got the answer due to some 'unavoidable' reason they're not considering me. (Hiring manager told "from my side I gave it a 'Go' and reached out to your manager too but there are other factors involved in it and sorry can't disclose it")
  3. I have been given a 4 (mid year was good)
While I can gauge what would have happened in October my question is how to prevent it going forward (if seeing my 4 and those false comments anyone approached me) anything I could do? [I am trying out too]

@ap how do you know your issue is being taken seriously? Who has contacted you about your concern?

So same sitaurion here funny ! ... same thing. Go to ethics, they are at least taking my comcern seeiously. Same thing 0 written feedback post mid year, and manager js dismissive , rude , and guess the funny part. They gave me 2s in all ratings but ONE (how) ... its a forced curve on people happening there ara so many threads on this. How this is a massive HR problem idk

Yeah it’s clear what happened here. You need to aggressively look external. That 4 is gonna hang over your head

I understand that is why it's given to lock me here or go out of the company.. can I do anything about it..as someone suggested Ethics portal..I will try that.. similar to that anything could be done as it's very evident as a forced 4

You will not be eligible to move internally with a 4

I think can apply but don't think anyone would come back even if you're the best match for the position. But how the current manager can stop an internal transfer when it wasn't even 4?

Hard enough to move internally without a network connection. Almost impossible (if you can even apply) with a 4. I think your last review has to be a 3 or better to even apply for internal jobs.

If your prior year ends were good (3 or better), then go to the Ethics portal and open a case for retaliation -retaliated against for trying to move to an internal team as it better suits your career goals but got retaliated against for simply trying to manage your career. Don't bother with HR
