Thoughts on the new CEO? I’m happy to hear he has extensive insurance experience. Wonder if he has any thoughts on work from home.

Work from home is dead at AIG. Don't count on it.
@dz Yes Beavis, yes it is.
Hopefully that Chubb takeover goes through we needs more layoffs especially in the retail casualty department!
@c3 exactly! A new CEO is named and first thought is impact on working from home?!
They say AIG results are good but still AIG has been performing far below the other peers in a moment of financial markets booming (so how it would have been performed if the overall situation was only "so-so" instead?). First Peter tries to chose as number 2 a well known troublemaker that can't keep it in his pants, now he basically steps down out of the blue... I wonder if he was sacked because he was against Chubb takeover. A merger with Chubb would mean a lot of redundancies worldwide... The resulting company would be an insurance giant though.
Working in this company means to ride a rollercoaster most of the times... I'm really worried
To be fair, whining about WFH at this point is mo--nic. Industry standard is hybrid at best, so I wouldn't have that be my first concern when it comes to a new CEO. Would I like to be fully remote? Sure! I'd get a lot more done, but I'm not delusional.
If you think AIG is so endangered that the only valid concern a person should have is survival then why are you still here?
Seems you should find a company that feels stable to you instead of criticising others without that concern.
Seriously your concern is working from home with the new CEO announcement?? It should more about whether AIG will finally be put to pasture and all of us lose our jobs (so then you will have plenty of time at home)
He looks like an excellent fit. Hopefully he won't push for more in the office time. Studies have shown productivity actually decreases when that happens.
