That's all. The question is whether the number of people pushed out will justify the costs. In this job market, people will try to hold on to their jobs and sacrifice a lot to do it. If it's even remotely viable to commute, relocate, or make other sacrifices, people will do it. Even the craziest requirements will be met, if objectively possible.

I wholeheartedly agree with this, but, where have you been? This "revelation" was beaten to death 6 months ago.

Get off your couch and get back to work. Stop complaining about RTO if you want a paycheck.
There's a line of hungry folks and a stack of applicants that'd happily take your office job in a minute.
Quality workers are gone by now if they don’t like RTO. Only the scrubs are crying over here
