so the 2026 benefits book is now available and as expected, nothing has changed in terms of severance benefits, still 8 weeks up to 4 years of service then 2 weeks per year of service until it maxed out at 52 weeks for 26+ years.

Review the performance policy… per HR if you receive IM rating, no write up or PIP and get IM, you can be fired
thanks n1. Does Inconsistently Meets counts for "cause"?
has anyone on IM got a severance package based on tenure?
@mn if you’re fired for “cause” , WARN doesn’t apply/no 60 days notice. Your employment ends the day you are told you are fired - no notice, no severance
question i have is: if employee has had some 15 plus Meets or exceeds (or equivalent) over 15 years. How is latest Inconsistently Meets result in just 60 days of WARN and out with no severance just because they are on formal warning, improvement plan or as HR says "cause".
My cousins friends housekeeper knows an admin who has a friend in HR and they heard over coffee that this was changing to 1 week per year after January 15th.
@ax there you are. LMFAO
The codification in some HR book is not contractual. If it really mattered it could be changed.
The plan has always been to encourage attrition by making employees miserable, and to find/set up additional reasons to fire for cause, in order to save severance costs. Not to reduce the stated severance benefit, which would impact their ability to recruit from JPM.
Honestly surprised the FUD troll isn't here claiming it's still not official policy.
