Analytics roles

I see a lot of Analytics roles that look like they could pay $160k plus bonus in Minneapolis. Any insight on these roles in Risk and Audit? Would you recommend these roles? Is $160k plus bonus realistic for these roles?

For $160k base in Minneapolis - most likely the position will have to be a senior lead (so VP/Director level). The base pay range for lead will be 85-150k with a mid point of 117.5k. Bonus for lead should be 20% based on operations targets at the VP lead level before that information was removed, but since we never meet target - assume 15% to be happy. Still ask in the recruiting process what the bonus target may be, but unless the position is quantitative or risk - I wouldn’t assume bonus targets going higher than 20%. Say you ask for $120k - your bonus may be $20k - and a total compensation of $140k in Minneapolis. Not bad.

Yes. Title with Lead (or above) quantitative specialist can be in that pay grade. Not Analytic consultant tho. Mainly PhD with many years experience and technical skills fits those roles. If you are looking at those titles you should know what I am talking about. Definitely not entry level at all.
