People getting title promotions after being here 6 months

People getting title promotions after being here 6 months. Many others that are dedicated people that have been here for decades and never getting a title promotion. Favorites and cronies get these promotions.

Is this really happening? Not that I don't think this leadership is capable of it, I just never witnessed it myself.

take it from someone who has been her 40 years... B2.

Hanging around "hoping" to get a promotion or even working your a$$ off to outperform means bupkus.

We don't run on a taxi meter. the longer you hand here, the less you make while inflation eats away your meager earnings and shiny new toys are hired and make more.

if you aren't ki$$ing your manager (or better yet, THEIR manager's and HR a$$), then you are simply treading water while others race ahead.

Smarten up, buttercup!

Most title promotions are to make someone eligible to sign certain documents. Assistant vice president being the most common. It's not a sign of importance or merit, it's just corporate law that if someone is signing documents for a corporation they have to be an officer of the corporation and authorized by the board of directors to sign on behalf of the corporation. They are needed in any area with titles or mortgages that need to be assigned or released or any area signing legal pleadings or affidavits. Lots of documents are signed every day therefore there are lots of people with corporate titles no extra money or perks, just lots of training on policies and procedures for verification and signing documents.

Yes. Happens every year. This place is not a meritocracy.

I have witnessed it myself, a new hire received an officer title before their one year anniversary.
