Even if the reinstated the pension the chance of a new hire staying or making it 35 years would be almost nill.

I heard they plan on reinstating the pension as well. This is very exciting. Wish it was for 2026 but can wait for 2027

They are not reinstating the pension. It's a costly benefit that SF can't afford to continue or expand. This proves people don't know what the h*ll they are talking about here.

@ah i have never heard of a company reinstating pension after removing it. That's a long term liability.

No it’s not. But great news. Next year they will announce the pension is returning for new hires. They realize it’s a great retention tool. Announced in 2026. Effective 1/1/27
