Anyone loose people in their departments today?
Anyone that has a duplicate role or team under optum or uhg take on wellmeds work. Layoff the rest. Standard acquisition/ absorption steps apply likely.
It looks like ole papa George getting a payday to walk away
basically they fire anyone that doesnt have a real purpose anymore and then move teams who were decimated by previous layoffs into one big team or they move them into an optum role.
