Salesforce Reconsiders Its AI-First Strategy After Layoffs and Reliability Challenges

Salesforce, one of the world’s most influential enterprise software companies, is quietly but significantly rethinking its aggressive push toward artificial intelligence. After laying off nearly 4,000 employees and replacing many support roles with AI-powered agents, senior executives at the company have admitted that their confidence in large language models (LLMs) has declined. This shift marks a notable moment in the broader tech industry’s relationship with generative AI, exposing the gap between promise and practical performance.

The OP does not seem to understand how AI is implemented in the Salesforce Platform. I would ignore this hit piece. There are certainly problems but not as described above

If you are calling it "Sales Force" then you never worked there, you shouldn't comment as people are looking for real insight and these are the people that are currently working there unlike you

Never trust these companies. Sales Force would replace you in a heartbeat.
If you get a better job, jump ship. Never be loyal to them because they certainly wouldn't be so to you.

@OP layoffs were about cost reduction not AI. Same with other tech companies. However they won’t be bringing back the same number of employees.
