Anyone else look at their timesheets today? The holiday hours are only listed at 7 hours each day instead of the standard 7.75 hours. Last week showed 7.75 both days. What's going on?

@11j Then form a union if you want solidarity!
congrats, everyone one of you all fell for the psyop of HR to divide you on paycheques instead of channeling your anger towards management giving us all the bu----y.
2026 focus on building solidarity with your coworkers. good/bad, we are all stuck in the mud.
@jh Got paid as usual. Care to update your comments. Including an insensitive comment on “special classes”?????
We'll we got paid.
@jh not in a special class at all...
@jh checks are not being held this Friday the 2nd is a pay date. I wish I could post a pic of the calendar they sent out. Excel its a gradient color since its holiday and pay. Sheets I'm guessing does not use gradients so its nothing. Assuming this is what everyone is seeing. If your on Google go back to the email and open in excel!!!
@g1 You must be in a special class like management. The rest of the workforce is being used and checks are being withheld so the company can show a profit or at least one less expense to show on the books. Must have an ex-Enron exec cooking the books.. again.
It’s a disgrace that some salaried employees are abusing this. Clearly, this policy applies to the hourly employees.
Salaried employees: Be professional and get your butt in the office before 9:00!
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
We were told our new hours were 9-5 1 hour lunch, effective 12/29 same pay. Some folks will work different hours depending on business needs. They said this was across the board.
@f7 to my surprise reg paycheck hit also.
@f7 LOL. Checked mine and nope. Nice try.
@dz I actually checked my bank acct and paycheck was in there....
@e4 the spreadsheet in the email I saw also shows the 2nd is a payday? Not sure why some are showing the 9th a payday it shows on mine the 9th is end of pay period.
@dz Believe it when one sees it in their bank account on the 2nd. Given the climate of the company, they lost all trust. They su-k.
@dy I'm not sure why everyone keeps saying we're not getting paid on the second it was in another post comments too, the email from the 22 shows payday/holiday on the 2nd and the 9th a circle which is pay period end date. If open in sheets the color for payday/holiday is nothing, assuming that's why plp are confused.
Notice one other thing? People are paid bi-weekly. In a normal pay cycle, we should be getting paid on January 2 (14 day period). If anyone bothered reading the email about pay periods, the next check is January 9! So, the bean counters are delaying our pay for a week. Sounds like a dirty accounting trick. When any company pulls that garbage, then you know things aren't well or they're gaining some interest on our pay. Another example of a toxic workplace, brought to you by Sammy-Sun and PK.
What is the purpose of this anyway? Are they trying to artificially raise the average hourly rate to brag on their HR page and job openings they they have “very competitive” rates in the job market? I am honestly shocked that they are keeping pay the same for less labor hours. You would think they would want more return on each labor dollar spent. Maybe this indicates layoffs are near.
@ab Yeah, no one has mentioned this was coming, and the manager didn't even know about it this morning. Just assumed it was a simple mistake. Good times.
Honestly I'm not surprised they didn't tell you. When they changed us last Dec no one told us. When I asked the "csa" HR even they were like, oh no your department didn't get changed. I had to go to CUSA HR to confirm.
Honestly I don't know why they didn't change all departments at the beginning of they yr.
I heard last wk everyone got changed to the 9-5, 1 hr lunch schedule as of today. Yes your pay got raised to compensate the less hrs so your pay stays the same.
